Michael W. Wagner
Professor & Dir. of Graduate Studies at UW-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication
Professor Wagner's research, teaching, and service are animated by the question, "how well does democracy work?" He approaches this from a variety of perspectives, incorporating political communication, political parties, journalism, public opinion, political psychology/behavior, and more. Michael instructs courses on reporting, political communication, media and behavior, physiology and communication, fact-checking, public opinion and opinion writing. He was named the Hazel R. McClymont Distinguished Teaching Fellow in 2012, and the UNL student body named him the 2009 Outstanding Educator of the Year.

Sonya Reynolds
Dir. of Special Projects, The Movement Cooperative
Sonya has over a decade's experience in social justice and progressive data, having overseen data and innovation at the NY Civic Engagement Table and The Movement Cooperative for 11 cycles. She's tackled projects for the AFL-CIO, Movement for Black Lives, PDI, Family Equality Council and Latino Justice. Sonya was also the Treasurer and Co-Founder of The People's Tech Alliance and a digital security trainer for NYC Stronger Communities - a project of Mozilla Foundation and the NYC Mayor's Office.

Andrea Kaminski
LWVWI Legislative Committee, Voting & Election Portfolio
Andrea Kaminski covers voting and election law on the LWVWI Legislative Committee. She was executive director of the state League from 2004 until she retired in 2017. She also served on the Dane County Redistricting Commission in 2021 and is a poll worker for the City of Madison.
Emilie Rohde
Member, LWV
Milwaukee County
Emilie Rohde is a third-generation member of the League of Women Voters and a new member of the League of Women Voters of Milwaukee. Currently, she is a corporate and intellectual property associate attorney at Amundsen Davis LLC, and a recent graduate of Marquette University Law School.
Christy Schwan
President, LWV Ozaukee & Washington Counties
Christy has been President of the Ozaukee & Washington local League since 2021. She is also an active member of the statewide Community Alliances Committee and the DEI Committee. Christy is now retired and in her professional life owned an employee benefits consulting firm. A lover of learning, she recently completed her Masters in Business Design & Innovation from Carthage College. Christy is also a rock hound, wildflower seeker, and loves to kayak, canoe and snowshoe.
Nora Pullen
LWVUS Membership
Manager
Nora is the membership manager for the League of Women Voters. In this role, she is assisting with the League's transition to a new membership system, while also coordinating with local and state League treasurers regarding PMP and Ed Fund issues. After studying Linguistics at American University, Nora spent time in San Diego and Chicago before returning to DC. She was the Assistant General Manager at a non-profit youth hostel in downtown DC, where she gained operations experience while interacting with guests from all over the world.
Dan Theno
Brown County
Board Member
Dan served four terms as a State Senator from northwestern WI, two-terms as Mayor of Ashland, was Government Affairs Mgr for a Fortune 500 company, managed local government administrator and served as executive dir. of a statewide association in OH. He is now retired and lives in Green Bay, where he's a member of the Brown Co. Board of Supervisors, Brown County Human Services Board, Green Bay Traffic Commission and Dir. of the Brown Co. Historical Society.
Dawn Smith

Green Bay (President Elect)
Dawn Smith is the President Elect of the League of Women Voters, Greater Green Bay, and Financial Analyst at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. She is also the mother of two daughters - one of whom is a new member of the Milwaukee Co. LWV. Dawn has also served two years on Green Bay’s Nominating Committee, and co-chairs Green Bay’s Voter Services Committee
Jill Underly
State Superintendent of Public Education
Dr. Underly was elected State Superintendent of Public Instruction in 2021. She has a deep background in public education and has worked in all facets of public education including at the college level, state and district levels as a teacher and administrator. With over 25 years of public education experience, Dr. Underly is committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity for a first-class public education in Wisconsin.

Anneliese Waggoner
LWVGGB Redistricting Committee Member
Anneliese has been a member of the League for over 25 years, and has served as the Chair for LWV Greater Green Bay's Redistricting Committee. Prior to her retirement, Anneliese worked in healthcare and public education.
